Mommy's Back

Hello sweetie,

Mommy’s back! I have risen from the blog underworld my love! It’s been months since I vowed to myself I will revive my blog, resume writing my words of wisdom to my little girl. I just realized last weekend that you are growing up so fast, too fast, making it all the more critical for me to chronicle my memories of you as a little girl, while they are still fresh in my mind. For I know, in the years to come, I would love to look back and reread these entries, relive those moments when you were my little girl, my little sidekick and go back to the time when you look up to me with such adoring eyes, following every word that I say, staying by my side, saddened by the thought of me leaving and wailing at the sight of me actually leaving.

You’ll soon grow up and I will only have these entries and pictures to remember these years. I want everything written down for you to also read in time, as this blog also serves as testament of the strong mother and daughter bond we shared when you were a kid and I hope we will share and grow only stronger through the years and last until the rest of my life.

No matter how busy I get with work, with spending time with you, with managing my little business, I promise myself I will make time for this.

This blog is for you my little angel. I will keep it. I will maintain it. I will put my heart in it.
